Effective Date 2007-06-17

Effective Sunday, June 17, 2007, the CME E-mini NASDAQ 100 Options Strike Price Listing Rules will change.  The revised rules will be implemented as follows:

  • Beginning on Sunday, June 17, 2007 , any new CME E-mini NASDAQ 100 Options will be listed with strike prices in 10 Index point increments and with an expanded listing range of at-the-money +/- 7.5% of the referencing index (this is the same referencing index that is used to determine the listing range for the CME NASDAQ 100 options contract);

  • After June 15, 2007, the listing of additional E-mini NASDAQ 100 Options with 25 and/or 5-point interval strike prices will be discontinued for all existing and new contract months.

  • Contract months bearing the 25 and 5 Index point increments that are currently listed are:

June ’07                     Aug ‘07

July ‘07                       Sept ‘07

·        For the contracts named above, currently listed 25 and 5 Index point strike prices will continue to remain available until they expire.

·        Also discontinued will be the Exchange listing of option butterfly spreads (NQ:BO).

·        To trade option butterflies, User Defined Spreads should be created and traded.
